Kensington Massage Policy

The Staff at Kensington Medical Massage is here because we love  what we do. We want you to enjoy the experience of a quiet and  therapeutic massage with each visit.To respect each client's privacy  and modesty, all massages treatments are done with full draping.
Therapeutic massage is strictly non sexual. Sexual misconduct on the part of the massage therapist is grounds for dismissal from the  Registered Massage Therapy Association and from employment from Kensington Medical Massage. If client expresses interest in sexual  massage, the therapist will terminate the massage immediately and  payment for appointed service will be rendered in full.

We recommend that you schedule your session(s) with us ahead of time, though walk in welcome. Kindly give us 12 hours notice of cancellation for all services.

 We book a special time frame for you. We would like you to understand and please respect the fact that this time frame is set aside for only you. When you do not call to cancel or do not show up for your appointment your therapist is waiting with nothing to do and your therapist receives their income only when services are rendered, therefore if you do not show up for your booked appointment time your therapist does not get paid.  We pride ourselves on valuing your time and we ask that you value our time as well. We often have a waiting list for appointments so if you cannot make yours we simply ask that you call us 12 hours ahead of your booked time to cancel. This will allow us sufficient time to re book that time slot. If you do not call us in this time frame, we unfortunately will have to invoice and bill you for your missed appointment.

Note: We do understand that certain circumstances will arise that will make calling the clinic impossible to  do and when family emergencies arise we do  not expect you to need to remember to call us, so on a case by case basis your therapist may decide to wave this cancellation or missed appointment policy on those rare occasions.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to treatment. We accept, cash, debit and credit cards. We do not bill clients nor provide direct billing for insurance claims.Sometimes private insurance companies reimburse clients for our services. It is best to get a prescription from a doctor if you wish to submit to your insurance company. We provide you with a receipt but can’t guarantee that your visit will be covered by insurance. In many cases they will be covered, but that is at the discretion of the insurance company.
